CommissioningEngineer II
The Commissioning Engineer II reports to the USO Commissioning Manager and is focused on the integrated design, commissioning, and operation of plant systems, structures and integrated analysis of the facility with a focus on commissioning plan and product development. In this role, you will act as an operations engineer for Terra Power's Natrium project. This Commissioning Engineer II position requires a high potential individual who will focus on nuclear island commissioning and plant operations related aspects of the Natrium Demonstration Plant being developed including scheduling, planning, and testing product development.
The successful candidate will coordinate with engineers and project management professionals working on systems, components, engineering analysis, test planning, and scheduling in areas such as plant design, plant commissioning, and execution schedule development. The Commissioning Engineer II will work as part of a high‑performing team of engineers, operators, and project managers.
- Coordinate geographically diverse design and commissioning team members to develop supporting design and testing documentation.
- Develop and implement commissioning administrative programs and procedures.
- Develop and coordinate the creation of an integrated nuclear plant commissioning schedule across multiple organizations.
- Provide subject matter expertise to the project team regarding regulations, company policies, and industry best practices related to nuclear plant commissioning.
- Develop, maintain, and refine plant level and system level requirements, specifications, and strategy documents related to commissioning, plant operations and maintenance activities over the lifecycle of a nuclear facility.
- Apply engineering principles, methods, and tools to the design of nuclear and industrial facilities and their systems and operations.
