Title: Office Permitting Coordinator
Description: Sublette County Road & Bridge is seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated individual to fill the position of Office Permitting Coordinator. This is a full‑time, hourly position with an annual wage of $62,785.80
, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
The Office Permitting Coordinator plays a key role in supporting department operations through administrative coordination, permitting compliance, lease management, and grant documentation. This position works closely with county staff, state and federal agencies, contractors, and the public to ensure projects and regulatory requirements are handled accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Data entry and maintenance of digital and physical records
- Coordination and tracking of State and Federal grant applications, reporting, and compliance
- Preparation and management of permits with state and federal agencies including DEQ and BLM
- Management and tracking of leases, including documentation, renewals, compliance requirements, and agency coordination
- Assisting with regulatory documentation and project filings
- Maintaining project files, documentation logs, and reporting spreadsheets
- Correspondence with regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal departments
- Assisting with budget tracking and documentation related to grants, permits, and leases
- General administrative support for Road & Bridge operations
- Ensuring compliance with county, state, and federal requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong computer skills and the ability to operate office software competently
- Excellent organizational and record‑keeping abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience in government administration, permitting, grants, lease management, or a related field preferred
- Hourly Position – Annual Wage: $62,785.80
