Maintenance Technician

We are proud to be exclusively recruiting on behalf of a well‑established manufacturing business that is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of its production equipment and facilities. • Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical or plumbing faults and perform timely repairs.
• Complete planned preventive maintenance tasks.
• Work alongside production teams to address urgent maintenance issues.
• Maintain simple maintenance logs and documentation.
• Assist with the installation and testing of new machinery.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards.
• Manage spare parts and liaise with external contractors when required.

• Experience in maintenance, mechanical work, or plumbing (industrial environment preferred).
• Plumbing experience is preferred, but applicants with general maintenance skills will also be considered for a junior‑level position.
• Qualifications such as City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Physically fit and confident with hands‑on tasks.

• Competitive salary (£35,000-£50,000 depending on experience)
