We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead the culinary program at a well established, high volume restaurant in Wyandotte, Michigan. This is an outstanding opportunity for a chef who thrives on leadership, creativity, and operational excellence.
The Opportunity
This role offers full ownership of the kitchen, from menu development to team leadership, with the support of ownership that values quality, consistency, and guest experience. The ideal candidate is both culinarily driven and business minded, with a strong presence on the line and in day to day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire all kitchen operations including prep, service, and execution
- Create and evolve menus that balance creativity, seasonality, and profitability
- Manage food costs, inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships
- Hire, train, and develop a high performing culinary team
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes
- Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
- Collaborate with ownership and management on concept growth and special events
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or a strong Chef de Cuisine ready to step into an Executive role
- Background in high volume, full service dining
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Solid understanding of food cost control and kitchen systems
- Hands on, organized, and calm under pressure
- Passion for hospitality and guest experience
