$40,000 SIGN-ON BONUS! CRNA's - Experienced and New Graduates!
Administers intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures. Potentially administers anesthesia to all ages and A.S.A. classes of patients, including geriatrics and pediatrics. Provides airway management services as needed throughout the hospital.
no night shifts but a mix of 8, 10, and 12 hr shifts. Limited weekend needs.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES People- Conducts appropriate pre‑anesthetic assessments and documents findings.
- In collaboration with the anesthesiologist, determines the appropriate anesthetic plan of management and manages all aspects of anesthesia care, including preoperative, perioperative, and immediate postoperative care.
- Maintains complete and accurate documentation of care for all procedures.
- Provides airway management and/or intubations for emergent, non‑emergent, and resuscitation situations throughout the hospital.
- Anticipates and exceeds patients and customers’ expectations that meet all elements of the Henry Ford Experience.
- Identifies services and care improvement ideas and acts on them to create excellent outcomes.
- Demonstrates, supports, and assumes personal accountability for consistently upholding team members to the standards across the System and adhering to Henry Ford Health policies and procedures.
- Recognizes the unique contribution of all health care team members.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Provides education for staff, colleagues, patients, and/or families.
- Precepts new staff and students as requested.
- Provides and documents individualized patient and family education.
- Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in the area of specialty.
- Integrates research findings into practice.
- Participates in community activities and/or professional organizations.
- Represents Henry Ford Health by promoting an atmosphere of care, concern, pride, and respect to internal and external customers.
- Maintains awareness of personal actions and activities and their impact on the image.
