Job DescriptionMaintain, calibrate, service, troubleshoot, and repair measuring and test equipment (M&TE), analytical laboratory equipment, and process control systems used in manufacturing, quality assurance, research and development, and plant utilities. May be required to work on a variety of electrical, electronic, mechanical, process control systems, optical types, and/or analytical laboratory equipment.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Perform skilled calibrations and services on M&TE according to written policy and procedures.
- Repair all types of M&TE.
- Process electronic work orders, house requisitions, and purchase orders, and perform other administrative activities supporting daily functions. Document calibration work orders accurately and timely.
- Communicate status of ongoing calibration/repair activities via email, voicemail, and Maximo.
- Complete required qualifications on documents such as calibration procedures and SOPs, and complete training requirements.
- Develop recommendations for solving M&TE hardware and measurement problems; develop techniques to verify newly acquired or developed M&TE meets specifications.
- Assist in establishing and documenting job plans, data sheets, and other service protocols.
- Follow GxP and safe work policies and procedures at all times.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by Group Leader, Supervisor, or Senior Supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years of related work experience. Preferable related military service training may be acceptable.
- Knowledge of laboratory, research & development, or process instrumentation.
- Expertise in GMP/GLP laboratory practices.
- Skilled in troubleshooting instrumentation using schematics and flowcharts; ability to learn the theory and operation of newly purchased M&TE.
- Capability to work in and promote a team environment.
- The compensation range described is the range of possible base pay that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role. Compensation may vary by geographic location and other factors. Pay may be modified in the future.
