You are an empathetic and adaptable social worker with a strong understanding of safeguarding and child welfare. You have a passion for helping families and children in crisis and a commitment to promoting positive outcomes. You are ready to work collaboratively within a team and further develop your skills under the guidance of experienced practitioners.
As a member of the Family Support Team, you will manage cases of children subject to CASP, CP, PLO, and those in care until the initial looked-after review is completed. Your role involves participating in a duty system to address safeguarding matters urgently and provide support to allocated workers. You will also conduct assessments and develop crisis response plans to protect children at immediate risk.
Collaborating with other professionals and applying social work techniques, you will support individuals, families, and carers, ensuring all interventions are assessment-based, evidence-driven, and carefully recorded and reviewed. You will manage a caseload involving routine interventions, escalating complex cases as necessary, and contribute to team efforts in supporting at-risk individuals.
