Position: Business Development Director Wide - £Exceptional Package

Business Development Director

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Director to join one of the UK’s largest Print Management companies. The role is a senior position, primarily responsible for business growth within a cluster of named existing client accounts, and could lead to a board appointment.

Full‑cycle sales mindset required: research, initial contact, fact find, presentation, close, and follow‑up.

You will have full support from the company, but must be self‑reliant.

Responsibilities
  • Lead business development and account growth within a cluster of existing client accounts.
  • Drive full‑cycle sales activities – research, outreach, presentation, closing, follow‑up.
  • Provide prescriptive solution selling, develop account strategies, lead strategic engagements.
  • Manage customer relationships with technical and line‑of‑business executives.
  • Lead and influence teams while contributing as an individual contributor.
Qualifications
  • Prescriptive solution selling experience with a record of exceeding growth targets.
  • Customer‑management solution sales experience, regularly surpassing challenging growth targets.
  • Experience growing accounts with large project pursuits.
  • Ability to initiate and maintain strong, trusting relationships with executives.
  • Leadership and team‑management skills, functioning as a leader and contributor.
  • Excellent executive presence, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Must be resident in the UK and have recent experience in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
