The position reports to the National Sales Manager – Roofing & Ventilation.

Overall Objectives of the Job

To meet or exceed the area sales budget.
To development meaningful relationships with all external account customers with the aim of maintaining and developing sales.
To develop additional business with existing customers to include back selling in line with divisional requirements.
To pro-actively seek new business by introducing regular prospecting.
To work closely with Business Development Managers to use opportunities to develop additional business through cross divisional sales, house builders, specifiers and contractors.

Internal:
Sales & Marketing Director, National Sales Manager (R&V), Business Development Manager, Internal Sales Team, Marketing, Technical Manager, Accounts Team

External:
Field Based Sales Team

Duties and Responsibilities

To manage and promote sales of the company’s products throughout the designated sales territory.
To inform the National Sales Manager of all occurrences which could affect the Company’s performance.
Complete monthly reports on time.
To handle all customer enquiries, queries and complaints efficiently.
To work seamlessly with other regions where there is a crossover of account responsibility.
To record and maintain accurate and up to date customer records via the CRM.
To analyse and utilise sales data to monitor customer / product trends.
To monitor and report on competitor activities.
To attend Company sales meetings and training sessions as required.
To liaise and communicate with the Accounts Department with any customer related issues.
To liaise with the sales office on a daily basis.
