Job Overview

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales is offering a secondment position until 31st March 2026, extendable if funding is approved.

Only staff currently employed by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board will be considered for this role. The position is for a Registered Nurse to cover a busy surgical/medical escalation ward.

As Ward Manager you will have overall responsibility for management and leadership of the ward, including administration, coordination, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care programmes and the setting and auditing of standards of care.

• Lead a team of highly qualified nurses to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
• Be accountable for the quality of care delivered within the clinical area by nursing staff.
• Work collaboratively with other professionals to develop services for patients within the clinical area.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable;
