The Role of a Marketing & Communications Content Producer
We are looking for a creative and passionate Marketing & Communications Content Producer. You will produce engaging digital content across web, social media, video, blogs and more, supporting wider Marketing and Communications objectives.
This is an exciting opportunity for a content creator who enjoys working across multiple platforms, collaborating with colleagues and finding new ways to reach and inspire audiences.
Responsibilities of a Marketing & Communications Content Producer
Write, edit and publish content for websites, social media, blogs, videos, email campaigns and digital advertising
Create engaging content that informs, inspires and drives action across a range of digital platforms
Work closely with digital, campaigns, communications and marketing teams to deliver content that achieves results
Use CMS, editing tools and basic HTML to publish and update online content
Apply SEO best practice to improve search visibility and keyword performance
Meet with staff to support project communications and develop content plans
Generate ideas to engage prospective students and understand audience motivations
Ensure all content meets brand guidelines, compliance requirements and Welsh Language Standards where applicable
Support corporate communications including news stories, website updates and internal messaging
Encourage the use of student?generated content and support student contributors
Represent at open days, events and promotional activities as required
The Candidate
Experience creating marketing or communications content for a range of audiences
Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills
Skilled in creating content for web, social media and digital campaigns
Experience producing or editing photo and video content
Creative, enthusiastic and confident developing new ideas
Able to evaluate content performance using analytics and data
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Strong IT and CMS skills; confident using social media professionally
Flexible, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Welsh language skills (desirable)
