Maintenance Engineer

Wrexham | 6am-2pm 2pm-10pm | £42,000 - 45,000 I am currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Maintenance Engineering Technician to join their fast-paced food manufacturing. The role as a Maintenance Engineer:
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults quickly and effectively Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime Support Production teams to optimise line efficiency and process setup Assist with installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment Maintain accurate maintenance records and shift handovers Through structured continuous improvement devise initiatives to increase efficiencies and reduce costs and implement engineering projects Work with department manager to maintain spare part control Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards Whats in it for you as the Engineer?

Essential:
Minimum 3 years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Ability to work under pressure and manage workload effectively High attention to detail Desirable:
