Recycling Operative - Wrexham Industrial Estate

Monday to Friday | £12.82 per hour | 30 minute paid break
Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
Initial shift: 8am-4pm Future rotation: 6-2 / 2-10

♻️ About the Role
We are recruiting a Recycling Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing site based on Wrexham Industrial Estate. This is a hands‑on role working within the recycling department, supporting the safe and efficient processing of used jerry cans back into reusable materials for production.
This position offers long‑term stability, full training and the opportunity to secure a permanent role.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
-Feeding the shredding plant with clean, used jerry cans to convert them into granules for manufacturing.
-Loading industrial washing machinery with used jerry cans for further processing.
-Operating cleaning and recycling equipment safely and efficiently.
-Removing labels and separating caps as part of the recycling workflow
-Carrying out regular quality checks to ensure materials meet production standards.
-Inspecting cages and large "skin" containers to maintain safe and compliant storage.
-Completing all required paperwork accurately to support traceability and production records.

✔️ Requirements
-Previous production or manufacturing experience.
-Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
-High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
-Experience performing quality checks in a fast‑paced environment.
