This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist to join a well‑established engineering team working on diverse and technically interesting projects. You’ll contribute to high‑quality machining work that supports major pump repairs and electromechanical services across the UK. - Can operate lathes, milling machines and boring machines (essential)
- Conversant with the use of pillar and radial drills
- Machining and manufacturing of rotating equipment parts
- Complex turning and welding of pump bearings and shafts
- Undertake works to a high standard on a first‑time‑fix basis where possible
The successful applicant will possess:
- Must be methodical and accurate and make notes and reports during the disassembly process
- C&G/NVQ Mechanical Engineering (preferable)
- Previous experience within a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering environment
- Health and Safety training
- Ability to use industry equipment correctly and safely during the machining process
