Pharma Process Technician - Cleanroom, Lean & Compliance

Job Details:

• Pay: £15.86 per hour (incl 9% premium)
• Hours of Work:
  Core hours 8am till 4:30pm Monday to Friday (Annualised Hours so flexibility is required)
• Duration:
  Temporary (1 Year Maternity Cover)

to work in Wrexham

As a Pharmaceutical Process Technician
, you’ll work within the neurotoxin lab operating and maintaining key manufacturing equipment for filtration and vial filling processes. This role plays a vital part in ensuring compliance with strict safety standards and SOPs, including the safe handling of hazardous materials. You’ll help maintain inspection readiness, collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support production schedules, and contribute to validation and documentation. Engagement in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives is also expected.

• Previous experience operating process machinery within a regulated manufacturing environment
• Excellent English (read, write, speak) to understand complex technical instructions

• Degree in a relevant scientific subject

As a Pharmaceutical Process Technician
, you'll work in a Grade A/B cleanroom, wearing full PPE and executing repetitive tasks with precision by following detailed step‑by‑step procedures. Your responsibilities will include maintaining manufacturing equipment for filtration and vial filling, ensuring adherence to safety and SOPs, handling hazardous materials, and supporting inspection readiness. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams, documentation, validation support, and participation in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives are also key parts of this Pharmaceutical Process Technician role.

• Prior cleanroom experience or transferable skills from regulated industries
• Excellent English (reading, writing, speaking) to follow complex technical instructions
• High concentration for 4‑hour blocks on repetitive procedures

• Degree in a relevant scientific subject
