Role Description
We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our manufacturing team as Apprentice Machine Operator Helpers
. This role is designed as an entry-level position, offering structured on-the-job training and formal apprenticeship learning. Successful candidates will start by supporting machine operations and, upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, progress into Machine Operator roles.
Qualifications
- Assist machine operators in the day-to-day running of manufacturing machinery
- Load and unload materials and finished products
- Monitor machines during operation and report any issues to supervisors
- Carry out basic quality checks in line with company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area
- Follow health, safety, and food safety procedures at all times
- Support production targets and team objectives
Training & Development
- Enrolment into a recognised manufacturing apprenticeship programme
- Hands-on training under experienced machine operators and supervisors
- Gradual development of machine-setting and operating skills
- Opportunity to progress into a fully trained Machine Operator role upon successful completion

- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- No prior manufacturing experience required –

- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Mechanical or technical interest
