Role Description

We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our manufacturing team as Apprentice Machine Operator Helpers
. This role is designed as an entry-level position, offering structured on-the-job training and formal apprenticeship learning. Successful candidates will start by supporting machine operations and, upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, progress into Machine Operator roles.

Qualifications

• Assist machine operators in the day-to-day running of manufacturing machinery
• Load and unload materials and finished products
• Monitor machines during operation and report any issues to supervisors
• Carry out basic quality checks in line with company standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area
• Follow health, safety, and food safety procedures at all times
• Support production targets and team objectives

Training & Development

• Enrolment into a recognised manufacturing apprenticeship programme
• Hands-on training under experienced machine operators and supervisors
• Gradual development of machine-setting and operating skills
• Opportunity to progress into a fully trained Machine Operator role upon successful completion

• No prior manufacturing experience required –

Desirable (but not essential)

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Mechanical or technical interest
