Senior Operations/ Warehouse Manager

Location: UK (site based)

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000

Swi-tch is recruiting on behalf of a global organisation in growth mode within its UK logistics operation.

This role sits below senior leadership and exists to bring structure, governance, and operational control into a fast-scaling warehouse environment. The business needs someone experienced enough to work autonomously and build order where processes and people have not yet caught up with growth.

This is a hands‑on senior role with clear progression as the operation continues to expand.

• Own day‑to‑day warehouse operations and standards
• Implement health and safety compliance and governance
• Create and embed SOPs and operational processes
• Introduce structured people management, reviews, and development plans
• Support recruitment and development of operational staff
• Drive consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement

• Senior warehouse or operations experience within logistics, distribution, or 3PL
• Strong understanding of health and safety and operational compliance
• Experience working in structured, high‑volume environments
• Background in larger logistics organisations highly advantageous

• Autonomous, organised, and delivery-focused
• Strong people manager with authority on the floor
• Comfortable operating in a growing, changing business
• Commercially aware and process‑driven
