• Operate and maintain Hafren Dyfrdwy’s Underground Water network, upkeep of the Clean Water Network and repairs of Clean Water Main Assets.
• Conduct excavation within public highways and private lands.
• Respond to and resolve any issues raised by customers or members of the public.
• Liaise with other departments and contract partners.
• Perform full range of duties involved in delivering effective repair and maintenance service, including repair and replacement of existing water mains & ancillary assets, laying and working on valves, washouts and meters.
• Operate machinery on site and use up‑to‑date technology to support back office data upkeep.
• Work on call rota 24/7/365, outdoors in all weathers, including night shifts.

• A full UK driving licence is needed to travel independently to depots/bases.
• Accountability for own health & safety with a duty of care to colleagues and the public.
• Experience of working safely and operating compliantly.
• Positive, caring attitude and willingness to undergo full on‑site training.
• Loyalty to customers: you’ll be the face of Hafren Dyfrdwy in the community.

• Salary: £34,110
• 23 days holiday + bank holidays (and the ability to buy/sell up to 5 days per year)
