Principal Architect

Job Title: Principal Platform Architect – Public Sector (SC/DV Clearance)

Location: UK-wide (Remote, cannot be London based)

We are hiring multiple Principal Platform Architects to lead the delivery of cloud platforms and solutions for complex public sector programmes. This is a fully remote UK role – no relocation or sponsorship available.

As a Principal Platform Architect, you will provide technical leadership across multi-disciplinary agile teams, shaping cloud platform strategy and architecture, delivering high-impact solutions, and mentoring engineers to drive technical excellence. You will build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influence technology adoption across programmes.

• Lead delivery of large-scale cloud transformation programmes
• Make architectural and technical decisions that deliver positive business outcomes
• Collaborate with senior and executive stakeholders to shape strategy
• Mentor and develop engineers, fostering technical excellence
• Influence technology strategy and promote best practices in cloud platforms

• SC or DV security clearance (essential)
• Proven experience in public sector and consulting engagements
• Expertise with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Experience delivering cloud migration, modernisation, or web-based applications
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team mentoring skills
