Overview
Are you an Occupational Health nurse looking for a challenge? Are you excited about developing your leadership skills and playing a key role in managing a quality body fluid exposure service for a bespoke commercial service? - Professionally lead and take continuing responsibility for the development and maintenance of a quality body fluid exposure service for relevant staff in line with the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Work closely and communicate effectively with managers and staff employed by the Purchaser to ensure an effective working relationship
- Act as a resource of clinical expertise for managers and staff within the contracted service and the Trust OH team
- Develop protocols, guidelines and patient information that reflect evidence-based practice and undertake audit
- Have knowledge of recent DHSC/HSE/UKHSA legislation & recommendation
- SCPHN qualification
- Awareness of emerging trends and changing emphasis within the sphere of OH and Commercial health services
- Excellent communication and team working skills
- Commitment to driving clinical governance standards
- Ability to be flexible, responsive and dynamic
