Overview
As Management Accountant, you'll take ownership of monthly management accounts for individual group entities, ensuring accurate reporting while supporting the wider business with clear, insightful financial analysis. This is more than a month-end role you'll be involved in budgeting, forecasting, board reporting and continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.

DescriptionThis is more than a month-end role, as a Management Accountant you'll be involved in budgeting, forecasting, board reporting and continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.
Duties Include- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Posting accruals, prepayments and other month-end journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations & fixed asset management
- Variance analysis with meaningful commentary
- Monitoring performance against budget and forecast
- Supporting board pack preparation
- Business partnering across departments
- Liaising with auditors and external stakeholders
A Successful Management Accountant Should Be
- Working towards a professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- The ability to work effectively within a team and communicate financial information clearly.
