Team at Kober! We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Engineer to become a vital part of our Engineering Team at our bacon slicing and packing facility in Cleckheaton

  4 on 4 off (Days and Nights), 6am - 6pm & 6pm - 6am
• Location:
  
  Kober, Cleckheaton - Site Based Role
• Contract Type:
  Permanent

• Completion of reactive maintenance work when machinery breaks down to ensure impact to line efficiencies is minimised.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance to schedule.
• Ensure high standards of engineering workmanship across site.
• Team working on site development projects.
• Contribute to the development of existing and new standards for key items of equipment and facilities.
• Lead high standards of safety practices across the business.
• Complete routine tasks without being prompted, including any other duties relating to your role.
• Participate in Engineering focused activities
• Contribute towards continuous improvement projects.
• Support site technical issue resolution and completion of improvement actions through good engineering practices and guidance.
• Identify and share best practice and contribute towards raising awareness, improving performance and transitioning to a pro‑active engineering culture

• A minimum of level 4 HND in Mechanical Engineering
• An electrical engineering qualification would be an added advantage
• Experience in a fast paced food manufacturing environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take direction
• Ability to challenge others in a professional and constructive manner
• Understanding of environmental requirements and responsibilities
