Director of Engineering

We are supporting a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing site in the search for a Maintenance & Reliability Director based in North Wales
.

This senior leadership role will shape and deliver the site’s maintenance strategy, drive asset reliability across a 24/7 regulated facility, and lead a team of around 45 engineering professionals. The position sits on the Site Leadership Team and plays a key role in long‑term operational excellence.

• Leading maintenance and reliability strategy across the site
• Developing and motivating a large multi‑disciplinary team
• Ensuring compliance with EHS and cGxP requirements
• Maintaining validated/qualified equipment and infrastructure
• Driving continuous improvement and reliability programmes
• Managing maintenance budgets and investment planning

• Senior leadership experience in maintenance/reliability within a regulated, 24/7 operation
• Pharma, bioprocessing or sterile manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of maintenance systems, reliability engineering, and facility upgrades
• Proven leadership of large teams
• Experience at SLT level
