We are seeking a psychology administrator to join the team to job share with the current post holder. The Department of Psychology runs a number of programmes including a BSc and MSc in Psychology that are accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS); as well as a suite of Masters programmes.

The successful candidates will assume a key role in the Department of Psychology. They will work with students, team members and colleagues across the wider University to ensure a positive experience for students, monitor student recruitment and retention and address all University quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor student recruitment and retention and address all University quality assurance processes.
  • Work with students, team members and colleagues across the wider University to ensure a positive experience for students.
  • Contribute to the development and growth of the Department of Psychology.
  • Support professional accredited programmes and an understanding of the student life cycle.
  • Assist with on-going administration and coordination within the department.
  • Collaborate to support delivery of programmes including BSc, MSc and Masters programmes accredited by the BPS.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work flexibly and to tight deadlines, autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Outstanding communication and organisational skills and an eye for detail.
  • Experience or understanding of the student life cycle and professional accredited programmes is desirable.
