We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEND in a highly regarded and supportive primary school in Bristol. This is a full‑time role starting in September, running for one academic year, offering invaluable classroom experience in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

This role is particularly well suited to candidates who have completed (or are completing) a degree in Education Studies, Psychology, Sociology, or a related subject, as well as those who are considering a future career in primary teaching, SEND, educational psychology, or pastoral support. Previous school‑based experience is desirable but not essential – training and ongoing support will be provided.

• Work closely with class teachers and the SEN team to support pupils with additional needs.
• Help them access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop socially and emotionally.
• Gain first‑hand experience of classroom practice, behaviour support strategies, and inclusive teaching approaches.
