We’re looking for a Food Technology Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young people through a curriculum that celebrates creativity, nutrition, sustainability and healthy living. You will empower pupils to develop practical skills, confidence and a deep understanding of food, culture and wellbeing, all within a respectful and values-driven learning environment.

As a teacher in our school, you will be responsible for securing excellent outcomes for all learners, ensuring equality of opportunity and maintaining the highest standards of teaching and professional conduct. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of pupils of all abilities, using effective assessment and differentiation strategies to support progress and achievement. Through thoughtful curriculum design, you will encourage curiosity, independence and a responsible attitude towards food preparation, safety and healthy  keeping with the ethos of the Avanti Schools Trust, you will build positive relationships rooted in dignity and mutual respect, working collaboratively with colleagues, families and the wider community to support every child’s success.

You will contribute to a safe, purposeful and stimulating classroom environment where high expectations, strong behaviour management and safeguarding are central to daily practice.
