Design Technology Teacher

Design Technology Teacher Wrexham Excell Supply are currently recruiting a skilled and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to work in a secondary school in the Wrexham area . This is an excellent opportunity for a creative teacher who is passionate about practical learning and inspiring students through design, innovation and problem-solving. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Design Technology lessons, supporting students of varying abilities and contributing positively to the wider school community.

The role includes:
Planning and delivering high-quality Design Technology lessons Teaching practical and theory-based elements of the DT curriculum Supporting students to develop creativity, technical skills and safe working practices Managing behaviour effectively in workshop and classroom settings Assessing, monitoring and reporting on pupil progress Working collaboratively with departmental and support staff We are looking for someone who:
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Has recent experience teaching Design Technology in a UK secondary school Has strong subject knowledge (e.g. resistant materials, product design, graphics or textiles) Is enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable Demonstrates excellent classroom and workshop management skills Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Why work with Excell Supply?
