ResponsibilitiesJoin our dedicated team at Coleg Cambria to support the delivery of study skills that enable learners to progress and achieve. You will provide group sessions on key study skills topics, facilitate a range of learning activities, and offer one‑to‑one support to help learners overcome barriers. You will collaborate closely with Progress Coaches, tutors, and other staff, offering feedback on learner progress, updating reports, and contributing to a busy library environment.
Strong IT skills and the ability to leverage educational technologies are essential, as is enthusiasm for supporting a diverse range of learners.
- Qualified to a Level 3 or above
- Proven experience of learner support in an educational context
- Experience delivering training and engaging support sessions
- Knowledge of learning strategies and differentiation to support individual learner progress
- Effective use of technologies to support learning
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills at Level 2 or above
- Proficient with MS Office, Google applications, and general internet use
- Passion for empowering and enabling young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong teamwork, energy, and enthusiasm in a learning environment
