Health and Social Care Assessor

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Health and Social Care Assessor for a private training provider. They have caseloads of learners delivering level 5 in North Wales area full Health and Social Care apprenticeship framework.

To be successful in this Assessor / Trainer role you will have previous experience delivering the full framework in health and social care up to level 5. In return you will receive a salary of £21,000 to £25,000 per annum + Mileage, 25 holidays + Stats, your birthday off and a feel valued and rewarded on a regular basis for your efforts with social and team events.

• Developing learners understanding of the apprenticeship Framework in order to complete qualifications
• Coach and mentor learners to achieve
• Completing learner induction paperwork
• Ensuring ILP s are completed and are maintained
• Planning and implementing initial assessments
• Ensuring regular learner reviews are conducted
• Delivering learner portfolios and assignments to agreed standards
• Building and developing relationships with Employers and communities
• Manage and complete both business and personal administration within given timescales i.e. delegate satisfaction results, expenses, review documents, reports etc.
• Ensure knowledge of all subject areas is kept constantly updated by way of self-development and CPD

• A relevant industry related qualification at level 5 or above
• Knowledge of the apprenticeship frameworks
• Functional Skills at Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT or equivalent qualifications
• Hold either D32 / D33 / A1 / TAQA
• Hold a relevant teaching qualification CTLLs / DTLLs / CERT ED / PGCE
