Customer Controller

Wrexham

We are looking for a Customer Controller to join our client’s team based in Wrexham on a permanent basis. Reporting to the MPL Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for our clients customers, ensuring accurate order management, timely delivery, and exceptional customer service. The role involves coordinating customer schedules, managing transport, and resolving issues to maintain strong customer relationships and meet daily obligations.

Performance

Objectives
  • Customer Order Management:
    Process and manage customer orders for delivery;
    Maintain accurate records in SAP systems.
  • Communication & Relationship Management:
    Serve as the main liaison between our client and customers;
    Provide regular updates on order status and delivery schedules.
  • Production & Inventory Coordination:
    Work closely with planning and production teams to align customer requirements with manufacturing capacity;
    Monitor stock levels and ensure continuity of supply to our customers.
  • Issue Resolution:
    Investigate and resolve delivery delays, quality concerns, and other customer issues promptly.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    Prepare weekly/monthly reports on order status, KPIs, and customer performance metrics.
Person Specification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in customer service or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel essential).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Team player with proactive approach.
