An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Memory Team within the Integrated Medicine Directorate as a Co‑ordinator based at University Hospital of Llandough.
The applicant will need excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with tact and diplomacy while providing a professional service.
You must have the ability to work in a busy environment and be confident in liaising and meeting with all grades of healthcare staff and patients.
Main duties of the jobTo assist the Integrated Medicine Directorate with the coordination of the Memory Team clinics on a daily basis; to work closely with the Memory Team Medical Secretary/Waiting List Coordinator to ensure that patients are seen within the appropriate timeframe according to prioritisation.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post;

Person Specification Qualifications- RSA III or equivalent experience/knowledge
- 4 GCSEs
- ECDL
- Audio and copy typing
- Use of Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Working in office environment incl. office systems and equipment
- Experience of working in the NHS
- Organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to set up administrative systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team and on own initiative
- Highly motivated and organised
- Reliable
