The East Primary Care Team is looking for experienced, organised and enthusiastic Senior Receptionist to work in Beechley Medical Centre, Wrexham.
Previous experience of working within a GP Practice would be beneficial and knowledge of the EMIS clinical system is desirable, however training can be given. The demands of a GP practice can change on a daily basis and therefore this role will be challenging.
There is an expectation that the successful candidate will learn Welsh following appointment to the post.
Main duties of the jobTo oversee and supervise the reception areas and reception staff, maintaining an efficient, synchronised, and effective reception service.
Working in partnership with the GPs and Practice Nurses, acting as a focal point of communication between patients, GPs and other reception and medical staff.
Proficient IT skills (including experience of Microsoft office) is also required as the post holder will also be undertaking a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth day to day running of the practice, including some data inputting.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a healthcare setting or a customer service environment but full training can be given to the right candidate.
Welsh Language Skills need to be learned on appointment. Welsh and / or English speakers are welcome to apply

Person Specification Qualifications- NVQ Level 3 in Supervisory Management or equivalent
- Maths/ English GCSE or Equivalent
- ECDL
- Audio typing RSA III or equivalent
- Welsh speaker
- Experience of working in a GP practice
- Experience of general office procedures
