Director of Nursing – Long-Term Care Facility
The Director of Nursing (DON) will oversee all nursing operations in a long-term care facility serving older adults. This hands‑on leadership role involves managing staff, ensuring high‑quality care, maintaining compliance, and supporting day‑to‑day operational management.

- Competitive salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year
- Full‑time, Monday–Friday schedule (40 hours/week) for work‑life balance
- Lead and supervise all nursing staff across 3 shifts, supporting morale, professional development, and accountability
- Oversee resident care, including assessments, admissions appropriateness, documentation, and incident management
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Support facility operations, including governance, policy updates, and staff hiring processes
- Serve as a point of contact for families, tours, and admissions‑related discussions once fully onboarded
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 3 years long‑term care experience; 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Experience with geriatric care and multi‑shift nursing leadership
- Knowledge of incident management, policy development, and documentation standards
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, email, messaging) and familiarity with EMR systems preferred
- Familiarity with state systems:
Virtual Gateway, vaccination tracking portals, Mass Mutual Aid Emergency Plan tools - Doctoral degree preferred, but extensive experience in LTC leadership accepted
- Must be comfortable commuting to Wrentham, MA Monday‑Friday
