Shop Helper​/Laborer

Key Responsibilities Equipment & Tool Support

• Clean, inspect, and organize hand and power tools
• Assist mechanics with basic maintenance tasks (washing equipment, greasing, fluid checks)
• Stage tools and materials for upcoming projects
• Report damaged or missing equipment

• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe shop and yard
• Organize and properly store construction materials
• Remove scrap materials and dispose of waste appropriately

• Load and unload trucks and trailers
• Deliver materials, tools, or fuel to job sites
• Assist with inventory management and restocking
• Operate forklifts or other equipment (if certified)

• Provide general labor support when needed
• Assist with setup and cleanup of job sites
• Follow direction from supervisors and project managers

• Follow all company and OSHA safety standards
• Wear required PPE at all times
• Report unsafe conditions immediately

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Previous construction or heavy equipment experience
• Forklift certification
• Knowledge of construction materials and tools
