Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Must provide CT experience and certification

• Must provide 2 fingerprint cards upon acceptance of position

• Perform radiographic CT examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation

• Exercise professional judgment in performance of procedures applying principles of radiation protection

• Perform diagnostic medical radiography within department and other areas

• Maintain patient records and files and assume responsibility for departmental quality assurance program

• Transfer patients to and from radiology department

• Rotate shifts as required and assume department responsibility in supervisor's absence

• Must be willing and able to take call and report to work within 20 minutes

• Must be able to perform duties in two fields of imaging and work outside of modality (Ultrasound, MRI, CT, Mammography)

• Assist with invasive procedures and maintain knowledge of these procedures

• Set up and run automatic injector and be familiar with contrast contraindications

• Alter routine protocols to provide quality care to pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients

• Must be competent in tele-radiology transmission and sterile technique

• Current ARRT in Radiography or Current ARDMS in one category (Abd or OB/GYN) required

• BLS certification required within 45 days of start

• Clinical competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years

• Must live at least 50+ miles away from facility address
