Monarch Education are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Wotton-Under-Edge
, who are seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

This role involves providing personalised support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs, helping them engage in lessons, develop confidence, and make progress both academically and socially. If you are passionate about making a genuine difference in a child's life, this could be the perfect role for you.

• Work 1:1 with a pupil who requires additional support
• Assist with both behavioural and learning needs
• Follow the pupil's Individual Education Plan (IEP)
• Support the class teacher in delivering tailored interventions
• Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment
• Build strong, trusting relationships with the pupil and staff

• Experience working with children with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other needs)
• A patient, understanding and resilient approach
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• The ability to remain calm under pressure
• A passion for helping children reach their full potential
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
