Pay: £130 – £213.30 per day
Location: Wotton-Under-Edge
Contract: Full-Time

Monarch Education is delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school located in Wotton-Under-Edge. This is a full‑time position, and the school is seeking someone who can start as soon as possible and commit to delivering high‑quality teaching and learning for their Year 2 class.

As the Year 2 Teacher, you will:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to Key Stage 1
• Support pupils’ academic and personal development
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with the KS1 team and wider school staff
• Assess, track and report on pupil progress
• Maintain strong communication with parents and carers

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 2 desirable)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Passion for inspiring young learners
• Commitment to providing high-quality education
