Overview

Hixen Search Group is seeking a Controller for a long-term client in the Construction industry. The Controller will report to the VP of Operations and company President, with ability to grow into the CFO role. The company values work/life balance and is family owned. The Controller will be an integral portion of the leadership team.

• Complete month-end close work including journal entries and reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly financial reports for leadership
• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting for the company as needed
• Assist with other accounting tasks as needed
• Work closely with the business as their financial liaison

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 8+ years accounting expeirence in construction or small operations businesses
• Strong core accounting skills are a must and a solid understanding of GAAP
• Some experience leading a team
• Experience with working in an ERP and any ERP transition experience is a big plus
• A desire to work in a team and results oriented environment
• $115,000-$130,000 base salary +10% Bonus
