DLZ Corporation is looking for entry‑level individuals willing to work hard and learn new skills. DLZ will provide the necessary training for you to be successful in your role as a Field Technician for projects in Ohio!

• Perform material testing of soils, aggregates, asphalt concrete, and concrete at the time of placement on an active construction site.
• Interpret specifications and working drawings.
• Field inspection, testing, sampling, equipment, and equipment maintenance on assigned project.
• Obtain and record field data, in a legible and organized fashion; as required by the plans, specifications, or project staff. Generate and compile field reports.
• Record daily installed construction quantities.
• Speak with team members on a construction site, including the contractor and owner's representatives.
• Communicate with all entities keeping everyone fully informed.
• Maintain equipment as required.
• Understand and follow the public health and safety requirements and the proper safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Ability to verbally communicate and relay accurate information
• Computer skills required
• Must have attention to detail
• Valid driver's License and ability to pass driving record check required
• Ability to frequently lift 50lbs
• Ability to travel throughout Ohio
• The following certifications are preferred:
• ACI Concrete Field Testing
• Nuclear Densometer Safety
