Job Description

Talented People are recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable law firm in Worthing West Sussex for an experienced Legal Cashier . This role is ideal for candidates with strong legal finance solicitors accounts or AAT-qualified backgrounds looking to join a busy supportive accounts team.

You’ll handle a wide range of legal cashiering and accounts duties including :

• Checking completion statements
• Processing online payments client account transfers and office account transactions
• Posting bills card payments and cost transfers
• Managing queries from fee earners
• Filing conveyancing finance paperwork
• Investigating client ledger balances
• Reporting SRA Accounts Rules breaches
• General legal accounts administration

• Bookkeeping knowledge
• Experience working in a law firm
• AAT Level 3 (or studying towards)
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional telephone manner
• Highly organised and able to work under pressure
• Accountancy-related qualification (or working towards)
