Job overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated RTT Validation Officer who can work well both within a team as well as unsupervised.

Working hours will be 09:00 - 17:00; this can be discussed le full support will always be available, you will need the motivation and discipline to manage your own assigned workload and escalate where necessary.

Attention to detail is essential as you will be dealing with repetition where accuracy is key. You will need to be IT competent and have experience with a variety of software.

Main duties of the job

To support 65 week recovery endeavours:

  • Using the appropriate Trust systems to capture and record accurate PTL data. Using their own initiative, supported by local guidance and the Access Policy to implement, analyse, interpret and apply judgements involving the 18 weeks rules and definitions to ensure compliance.
  • Responsible for ensuring that patient records have the correct clock starts and clock stops, by validating and interpreting patient pathways from first outpatient appointment, through diagnostics, treatment planning and treatment. This may involve adjusting / correcting patient referrals where inaccurate data entries have been put in by divisions.
