About Us
Our client a specialist provider of Supported Living and Residential Care in the Sussex area are seeking a dedicated & enthusiastic Support Worker for their 5 person tenancy-based supported living service in Worthing.
The service supports service users with a Learning Disability and/or Autism and Epilepsy and is located in the stunning West Sussex countryside overlooking the National Trust hill fort Cissbury Ring. It is located close to convenience shops and a bus stop, and individuals are supported to access activities in the local community and West Sussex, and to develop independence and life skills.
Your role- Support individuals in their own homes and in the community, to be as independent as they can and want to be, in areas of their choice.
- Support service users with travel to college, shopping, cooking, correspondence, leisure & occupational pursuits and much more!
- Support service users with a range of daily living tasks including personal care, domestic chores, health needs, independent living skills and anything else required to maintain their well-being.
- Offer consistent support to service users, enabling a trusting relationship to be built and quality support to be achieved.
We are looking for candidates who are caring, dedicated and love working with people. You will have excellent communication skills, a passion to motivate others and be able to plan and execute the working day.

The successful candidate will be expected to work in accordance with a rota and this will include weekends and sleep in duties. Experience in this field is desirable; however, full training will be provided. All successful candidates will be subject to a full Enhanced DBS Disclosure check and employment references.
