Part Time Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a Part Time Accounts Assistant to support the accounting and finance operations within this busy sector. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures.

• Assist with processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Provide support during audits and assist with necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and queries.
• Maintain a well-organised filing system for financial documents.

• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role within the retail industry.
• A good understanding of financial processes and accounting software.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Competitive salary between £27,000 and £33,000 per annum.
