Job OverviewWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Legal Administrator / Legal Support Assistant to join a well-established Private Client team. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail who enjoys supporting solicitors and clients alike.
As a Legal Administrator / Legal Support Assistant, you will play a key role in managing legal documentation, preparing correspondence and supporting matters relating to wills, probate, estate administration and lasting powers of attorney.
The Legal Administrator / Legal Support Assistant position offers the chance to work in a professional, client-focused environment, contributing to the smooth running of Private Client services while developing your experience within this specialist area of law.
Duties- Document Preparation:
Drafting and preparing legal documents relating to wills, probate, estate administration and LPAs - Client Correspondence:
Managing written and verbal communication with clients in a professional and confidential manner - File Management:
Maintaining accurate records, filing systems and case management documentation - Administrative Support:
Providing comprehensive administrative support to solicitors within the Private Client team - System Use:
Updating and managing information using case management systems, including Arken - Diary Coordination:
Assisting with scheduling, appointments and general office organisation
- Previous experience in a Private Client legal role
- A good working knowledge of probate processes, wills and lasting powers of attorney
- Strong communication skills with a professional and client-focused approach
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
