Pay Rate: £27,449.50
Grade: RCS N
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday Day Shift (predominantly working 9am - 5pm)
Location: Worksop - S80 3EG

We're now looking for a Transport Planner to play a vital role ensuring continuous improvement of planning processes within the transport department.

• Responsible for the delivery of efficient and profitable transport plans
• Meeting the Network KPI's and exceeding the customer SLA's
• Using Connect
  
  TMS to build loads, create routes, allocate vehicles, trailers and driver resource to planning deadlines
• Providing real-time monitoring to ensure that work is being completed within the given time frames

• Previous transport planning experience is essential, ideally working with FMCG customers
• Possesses a strong understanding of Driver Regulations and the Working Time Directive
• Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills with a logical, analytical approach
• Communicates effectively with strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
