Manage and lead a new domicilary care service in line with CQC standards and regulations.
About the Role:
We are urgently seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead our care service in Worksop. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring outstanding care, compliance with CQC standards, and the smooth operation of all aspects of the service. This is an opportunity for a proactive, experienced manager to make a real difference to residents/clients and their families.
Requirements:
* Ensure high-quality care and the safety, wellbeing, and welfare of all residents/clients.
* Lead, motivate, and support a team of care staff, fostering professional development and a culture of excellence.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including care plans, risk assessments, and staff documentation.
* Conduct audits, monitor performance, and implement improvements to maintain standards.
* Manage budgets, staffing, and resources efficiently.
* Act as the main point of contact for families, professionals, and external agencies.
* Ensure readiness for CQC inspections and any regulatory compliance requirements.
Requirements:
* Proven experience managing a care service in line with CQC standards.
* Knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) preferred.
* Ability to make decisions in the best interests of residents/clients.
* DBS check clearance and eligibility to work in the UK.
* Willingness and ability to apply for CQC approval as Registered Manager if not already registered.
