Responsibilities- Support the Shipping Department to ensure products are delivered on time and in full while complying with customer and legislative requirements.
- Perform various administration duties including checking new UK orders, creating hard copy/digital files, archiving and maintaining shipment logs.
- Plan and execute all UK Courier Express shipments via integrated supplier software; potential progression to international shipment processing.
- Bill customers after shipping, ensuring invoices are sent to the correct email/accounts payable and maintaining transaction records.
- Provide holiday cover/support for the Shipping Coordinator.
- Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality System and observe Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations.
- Embrace Celeros Leadership standards and Operating Initiatives while maintaining high standards of discipline and productivity.
- Perform all duties commensurate with the position as requested by the Shipping Manager.
- Meet annual performance objectives linked to the business strategy and priorities.
- Contribute to building a sustainable performance improvement culture ensuring accountability and execution.
- Work with other departments and key internal stakeholders to achieve service level agreements and targets.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous experience with SAP desirable but not essential.
- Strong administration and organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Desire for development.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels, including senior management.
- Excellent customer service manner.
- Previous experience working in a Shipping Department desirable but not essential.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Similar industry working environment highly desirable.
- Minimum GCSE in Maths and English.
