Management Accountant

Overview

Sharp Consultancy are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a successful and growing business in Worksop. With a turnover of £22m and a supportive finance team of five, this role offers variety, progression, and the chance to make a real impact within a multi-entity environment.

As Management Accountant, you will take ownership of producing management accounts for several entities within the group, some larger and some smaller. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to work across different priorities. You will also support the Head of Finance with reporting, analysis, and continuous improvements within the department.

• Preparation of accurate and timely management accounts across multiple entities
• Balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and commentary
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
• Producing insightful financial reports to support decision-making
• Working closely with non-finance stakeholders to explain financial performance
• Supporting process improvements to strengthen reporting and controls

• Competitive salary up to £45,000

• Proven experience producing management accounts end-to-end
• Driving licence required
• Qualified by experience or part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) considered
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
