Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly regarded PLC based in Worksop to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant looking to develop their technical skills within a supportive and progressive finance team. Reporting into the Group Accountant, this role will offer broad exposure across financial reporting, month-end processes and statutory accounts, making it an ideal next step for someone looking to progress their career within a listed business.

• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Assisting with statutory accounts and audit processes.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and review.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assisting with financial controls and process improvements.
• Providing ad-hoc analysis to support wider business decisions.
