School Cook - Temporary Ongoing

Must have an Enhanced DBS on the updated service or willing to pay for one.
At Provide Education & Teachers UK, we are dedicated to connecting skilled educational professionals with schools that prioritise creating outstanding learning environments. We are currently seeking experienced School Cook to work at a partnered school in the Worksop area on a temporary ongoing long term basis for 3 months to cover an absence.
As a school cook, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the preparation and delivery of meals within the school. This position requires a proactive and organised individual with a passion for food and nutrition, ensuring the smooth operation of our school’s catering facilities.

Shift pattern:
Monday to Friday 9am to 13:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with dietary requirements and menu plans
Ensure high standards of food hygiene and safety are maintained at all times.
Assist in managing stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen areas and equipment
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards

The successful candidates will:

Relevant qualifications in catering, food preparation, or hospitality are desirable
Previous experience in a similar role within a school or catering environment is advantageous
Knowledge of food hygiene regulations and health and safety standards
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
